Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior dealership experience and familiarity with schematics are highly valued. The position involves performing repairs, diagnostics, and routine maintenance on a variety of vehicles, utilizing both hand and power tools. Candidates should be comfortable with heavy lifting and working with complex mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair automotive issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and mechanical knowledge
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs efficiently
  • Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols during all repair procedures
  • Assist with vehicle assembly and component replacement as needed
  • Maintain detailed records of services performed for each vehicle
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines
  • Ensure work area is clean, organized, and adheres to safety standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic; dealership experience is preferred
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including brakes, engines, transmissions, and electrical components
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
  • Ability to lift heavy parts or equipment safely (heavy lifting required)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good customer service skills to explain repairs clearly to clients
  • Valid mechanic license or relevant certifications are mandatory
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience with automotive repair, maintenance, or assembly is highly desirable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
