About the Role

We're hiring reliable, hard-working Snow Removal Team Members to support our winter operations. This is an on-call position—you'll be contacted when snow events happen and expected to respond quickly and safely. Work includes shovelling, salting, and operating snow blowers at residential properties.

This role runs until the end of March, with future opportunities available for strong performers to transition into spring/summer work (landscaping, lawn maintenance, clean-ups, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Shovel walkways, steps, driveways, and entrances efficiently
  • Apply salt/ice melt safely and accurately
  • Operate snow blowers (training provided if needed)
  • Load/unload tools and materials and maintain equipment care
  • Follow route instructions and service standards
  • Communicate clearly with the crew lead during storm events
  • Work safely in cold, snowy, and icy conditions

Requirements

  • Must be reliable and responsive during snow events (on-call availability)
  • Comfortable with physical labour (lifting, repetitive shovelling, long shifts)
  • Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Valid driver's license is an asset (especially if you can travel between jobs)
  • Experience with snow blowers is an asset (but not required)
