Assistant Project Manager – Construction

Location: Niagara Region, ON

Compensation: Competitive salary + profit-sharing + benefits

Overview:

Our client is hiring an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of high-quality ICI and multi-residential construction projects across Southern Ontario. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a respected and growing general contractor in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in overseeing project timelines, budgets, and documentation

  • Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, and change orders

  • Coordinate procurement and material deliveries

  • Take meeting minutes, prepare reports, and ensure smooth communication among team members

  • Maintain and update project management software and logs

  • Help enforce safety and quality standards on-site

Requirements:

  • 2–5 years' experience in a construction project support role (APM, Coordinator, etc.)

  • Exposure to ICI or multi-residential projects is strongly preferred

  • Proficiency in construction software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam)

  • Construction-related diploma or degree an asset

  • Strong communication, time management, and documentation skills
