  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning and development

  • Being comfortable with implementing small group/circles/crafts if needed

  • Able to follow and implement routines with a group of children(toddler/preschool)

  • Able to cover lunches and planning time for staff daily
  • Comfortable working with a team teacher

-knowledge of how does learning happen is considered an asset

Qualifications:

- Prior experience as an assistant teacher in a classroom with preschool/toddlers

- VSC police clearance (required)

- Experience working with children in a classroom setting

- CPR certification

- French as a second language is considered an asset but not required

- Strong time management and organizational skills

- Excellent communication and leadership abilities

-Able to work in varying shifts between the hours of 10:30-3:30

- must be flexible to cover lunch, sick days, vacation days , etc if needed

-This position is part time .
