The Sonographer reports to the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging, as a member of the Diagnostic Imaging Team performs patient care, technical activities and duties directly related to the overall functioning of the department. The purpose of this position involves the performance of routine and specialized ultrasound procedures in the Diagnostic Imaging Department ensuring proper application of ultrasound techniques and procedures.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Diagnostic Medical UltrasoundSonography Canada certificationNova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensureCurrent CPR CertificationRegistration with more than one ultrasound credential is an assetCompetencies in other languages an asset, French preferredPlease ensure your resume is up to date and includes all relevant education, experience, training, and certificationsHoursVarious sites and community-based locations throughout Nova Scotia.
