Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced structural engineer to join our team in Calgary, AB. This individual will lead and oversee the growth of TYLin's client base and technical team across the province, and will also act as a technical resource for projects based in Ontario.

Responsibilities

Project management and quality control of structural design deliverables and construction administration activities for Buildings projects  

Coordinate models & workflow between members of the design team

Prepare Structural engineering deliverables appropriate to various stages of design including Concepts, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documentation.  

Perform site investigations and construction administration observations as needed for project scope.

Lead project-specific QA/QC efforts

Lead the Proposal process and participate in business development in Calgary

Participate in hiring and managing team members in Calgary to support growth of TYLin's Buildings Sector

Qualifications
 

Bachelor's degree in engineering

Minimum 12 years of work-related experience in structural design of Buildings

P.Eng with APEGA

Working knowledge of structural analysis and design software

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to read and understand engineering and architectural drawings.

Knowledge of Autodesk Revit is beneficial but not required.
