We are working with a well-established organization in the manufacturing and power generation equipment industry that is seeking an experienced Parts Supervisor to join their team. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels in leadership, and has a strong background in parts, shipping/receiving, and inventory management within a manufacturing or equipment parts setting.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor the parts team, ensuring strong collaboration, efficiency, and adherence to company standards.

Oversee daily parts department operations including order processing, shipping and receiving, inventory accuracy, and vendor relations.

Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment by implementing and sustaining 5S best practices.

Utilize ERP systems to manage parts, monitor stock levels, and track procurement activities.

Work closely with manufacturing and service teams to ensure timely availability of parts to meet project and client needs.

Coordinate shipping and receiving activities while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Analyze parts usage, forecast requirements, and optimize inventory control to support operational efficiency.

Identify process improvements and implement solutions that enhance accuracy, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in a parts, inventory, or warehouse leadership role within manufacturing, equipment, or power generation industries.

***Must have Red Seal Certificate and Diesel Engine industry experience or knowledge.

Proven leadership abilities with experience managing and developing teams.

Strong knowledge of ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or similar) for parts and inventory management.

Hands-on expertise in shipping/receiving procedures, inventory control, and supply chain processes.

Well-versed in the 5S model and continuous improvement methodologies.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
