Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, developing insightful reports, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. This role requires a strong foundation in data analysis tools and methodologies, with an emphasis on business analysis, database management, and visualization. The Data Analyst will collaborate across departments to deliver actionable insights that drive business growth and operational efficiency.

Duties

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL, R, Python, and other analytical tools.
  • Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations utilizing Tableau, Power BI, and Visio to communicate findings effectively.
  • Support project management activities within Agile frameworks and participate in SDLC processes for data projects.
  • Design and maintain databases using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and database design principles to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
  • Conduct business analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Automate data workflows using VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and other scripting languages to optimize reporting efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Document processes and create detailed reports to support decision-making at various organizational levels.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role with strong analytics skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and experience working within Agile project management environments.
  • Familiarity with database design principles and experience working with Oracle databases.
  • Strong business analysis skills with the ability to interpret data into meaningful insights.
  • Experience with Visio for process mapping is a plus.
  • Excellent analysis skills with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.80-$74.89 per hour
