**Responsibilities:**

  1. **Subject Instruction:**

  2. Deliver high-quality instruction in English, Math, Physics, Chemistry and Biology to high school students.

  3. Develop and implement effective lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.

  4. **Student Engagement:**

  5. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active student participation.

  6. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.

  7. **Assessment and Evaluation:**

  8. Design and administer assessments to evaluate student progress.

  9. Provide constructive feedback to students and collaborate with colleagues on assessment strategies.

  10. **Classroom Management:**

  11. Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a conducive learning atmosphere.

  12. Establish and maintain a positive rapport with students.

  13. **Professional Development:**

  14. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

  15. Stay abreast of educational trends and incorporate innovative teaching methods.

Additional Skills

  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and learning progress, both in class and with homework assignments.

  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss the development, progress, and challenges of students.

  • Design and implement engaging activities for students within learning programs, both before and after regular school hours.

  • Demonstrate effective planning and organizational skills to enhance the overall learning experience for students.

Work Setting: Learning Centre

Credentials: College+, ECE/ECA or OCT preferred. Bilingual preferred

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $20.00-$40.00 per hour plus performance bonus

Schedule:

· Monday to Friday (3:30pm – 7:30pm) or Weekend (10am-5pm) regular school time

· Monday to Friday (9am-5pm) Summer break, March break and Winter break
