We will train and integrate your abilities to become an expert in commercial water treatment systems.

Job Overview:

As a Field Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our vending systems, be challenged to solve problems and help care for our customers throughout Manitoba. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong technical background who can work independently, communicate effectively as a part of a team, and proactively manage their schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Professionally represent Dyna-Pro in the Manitoba region, fostering excellent customer relationships.
  • Working with our Service Team, execute and manage weekly service routes, ensuring timely completion of tasks while also representing Dyna-Pro to our customers.
  • Installation of purified water vending systems in commercial environments.
  • Provide on-going maintenance as well as troubleshooting and repairs, utilizing comprehensive technical knowledge. A variety of electrical, plumbing and mechanical knowledge will apply.
  • Maintain, merchandise, and clean existing equipment and retail displays.
  • Maintain detailed records of all service activities, including timesheets, inspection reports, and service reports.
  • Perform site surveys and provide sales support to the Sales Department.
  • Communicate regularly with the Service and Sales teams, assisting in job preparation, planning and management.
  • Follow company policies with regards to operations and workplace health and safety.
  • Maintain a company-provided Service Van.
  • Maintain an inventory of service parts.

Job Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license (driver's abstract may be requested).
  • Ability to travel extensively each week, with hotel expenses covered.
  • Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in any plumbing, electrical work, or mechanical trades.
  • Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting techniques.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills. Secondary languages are also an asset.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs, and also able to maneuver large equipment in commercial buildings.
  • Have a full range of mobility in upper and lower body and be able to work in various positions, including but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time.
  • Work at heights greater than 10'.
  • Work on ladders of all types.
  • Work on scissor lifts.
  • Successful candidates must have legal authorization to work in Canada on a full-time basis for any employer.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
