OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
We are hiring a talented Warehouse Technician to join our team in our Edmonton, AB office. If you're excited to be part of a winning team, Echelon Supply and Service is a great place to grow your career.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assembling industrial & hydraulic hoses;
- Visually inspect completed assemblies;
- Interact with customers and fulfill their product requests/needs;
- Stock handling and inventory managing;
- Picking and packaging customer orders;
- Loading/Unloading trucks;
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace;
- Pressure test hose to ensure accurate, safe and quality made assemblies;
- Complete miscellaneous shop duties as required.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Prior manufacturing or production experience is considered an asset;
- Valid Driver's License required with clean abstract / reliable transportation to and from work;
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment;
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as many warehouse items are cumbersome and heavy;
- Enjoys a physically demanding environment that includes heavy lifting and moving constantly throughout your shift;
- Ability to learn and function fluently with in house computer software;
- Contribute to an upbeat atmosphere in the workplace by supporting and aiding all team members;
- Excellent communication skills, a mechanical aptitude and detail oriented with a desire to learn;
- Awareness of Health & Safety and Security measures in place to prevent injuries;
- Understanding of how to dispose of hazardous waste material in a safe manner.
