Controls Engineer

D&R Technology has an immediate opening for an Controls Engineer. This position represents a full-time opportunity in an exciting, cutting edge and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
The incumbent will have a hands-on role in supporting and developing small and large scale automation equipment solutions for our business. The successful candidate will be expected to work with various electrical design and programming software to develop and implement custom solutions in conjunction with our mechanical team for various customers. Engineer will be actively participating in all phases of the project including programming, design, installation, start-up support, training and future support. You must be able to take lead on various projects and ensure they stay on track. Knowledge in application engineering and estimating is a benefit.
Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated success developing automation solutions in a high-speed manufacturing or production environment
6+ years' experience programming complete automated systems
PLC, Servo, & HMI Programming
RSLogix 5, 500, 5000
Allen-Bradley Factory Talk ME & SE, Panel Builder and other HMI's
Motion Control Programming, tuning, and design using Rockwell (Kinetix, Ultra & Powerflex)
2D CAD Design
Motoman & Fanuc Robot Programming is an asset
Ethernet IP Experience
Required documentation and ability to travel internationally (USA), average 1 week monthly
Exceptional Work Ethic and self-motivated
