Haakon Industries, a global leader in custom-designed and manufactured HVAC units, is looking for motivated individuals to join our team as an Assembler in the Assembly Department. This team is responsible for assembling air handling units by securely installing exterior and interior walls, roof sections and components onto the unit base.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Unit Assembly: Assemble HVAC units by following assembly instructions and blueprints to install various structural and mechanical components
  • Component Installation: Install and secure unit components ensuring proper alignment, secure connections and overall quality
  • Mechanical Skills: Utilize mechanical skills to perform tasks such as basic welding and fitting and fabricating metal products
  • Blueprint Reading: Accurately read and interpret fabrication packages and drawings to guide assembly processes
  • Measurement and Tool Use: Use measuring tapes to perform calculations and operate air and electric hand tools efficiently
  • Physical Labour: Engage in physically demanding tasks, including lifting and installing heavy components and working from heights
  • Independent Work: Perform tasks independently with minimal supervision to meet production goals
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively in a team environment with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Safety Awareness: Maintain awareness of safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team

Job Type:

Full-time, indoor

Wage Range:

$21.80-$25.00/based on experience

  • Skilled Labour 1 year (Required)

Shifts:

  • Rotating early morning and afternoon shifts
