Position: Full-Time Preschool Teacher

QAF Preschool is seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that supports the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of young children.

Responsibilities:

1. Classroom Teaching & Planning

  • Plan, prepare, and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities aligned with preschool learning goals.
  • Design weekly and monthly plans that support early literacy, numeracy, social-emotional learning, and play-based exploration.
  • Adapt activities to meet the individual needs and abilities of all children.
  • Maintain a structured daily routine that supports learning and smooth transitions.

2. Child Development & Care

  • Support children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development through positive interactions.
  • Observe and document children's progress and development.
  • Provide guidance and encouragement to foster independence and confidence.

3. Supervision & Safety

  • Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Follow and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Respond appropriately to incidents, injuries, or emergencies and report them as required.

4. Classroom Environment

  • Create and maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Prepare learning materials, set up activity centers, and rotate materials as needed.
  • Ensure toys and materials are sanitized regularly.

5. Communication & Collaboration

  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and staff.
  • Participate in staff meetings, planning sessions, and professional development.

6. Behavior Guidance

  • Use positive behavior guidance strategies to support children's social skills and emotional regulation.
  • Encourage cooperative play, respect, and problem-solving.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field preferred).
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Experience working in a preschool or early learning setting.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Can speak/ teach in Arabic

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
