Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure smooth kitchen operations. Duties

  • Assist with meal preparation and food assembly according to recipes and standards
  • Support kitchen staff with food handling, washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Help with stocking supplies and organizing storage areas to ensure efficient workflow
  • Assist with serving food during busy periods and ensure timely delivery of dishes to customers
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to promote a safe working environment for all staff members

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a restaurant or food service setting is required.
  • Food safe certificate required
  • Basic cooking skills and familiarity with food preparation techniques
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting moderate loads

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
