Job Summary:

This role is responsible for creating customized Microsoft Power Platform solutions for Pontem's clients, primarily Microsoft Power BI Dashboards that automates reporting and enables leaders to make data driven decisions. A collaborative and communicative individual, this Data Solutions Developer works well with Pontem's client stakeholders and Business Solutions Managers to produce and maintain custom data solutions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to client needs, ensuring data accuracy and clarity.


• Connect to and integrate data from multiple sources, including APIs, SQL databases, and cloud-based platforms, to create comprehensive datasets.


• Collaborate with clients to gather business requirements, understand strategic goals, and translate them into technical specifications and data models.


• Optimize data models and queries for performance and scalability within Power BI and other Power Platform tools.


• Develop and deploy Power Apps and Power Automate flows to enhance business processes and improve operational efficiency.


• Implement data storytelling techniques to create compelling visualizations that communicate insights effectively.


• Conduct regular presentations and workshops to demonstrate solutions, highlight key findings, and provide training to clients.


• Stay updated with the latest Microsoft Power Platform features, tools, and best practices, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance client offerings.


• Perform data analysis and interpretation to support strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for digital transformation.


• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for existing Power BI reports, Power Apps, and automated workflows.


• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and methodologies by sharing knowledge and best practices.

Qualifications:


• Proven experience with Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.


• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and DAX.


• Proficiency in connecting to data sources via APIs, SQL, and other integration methods.


• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and database management.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.


• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


• Knowledge of advanced analytics and machine learning applications is a plus.
