A career as a Senior Credit Risk Management Analyst in the Credit Risk Analytics team at National Bank means that you can specialize in AIRB model back-testing, risk data analytics and building A.I. processes to support risk functions. Your job

  • Efficiently design and implement processes related to risk models (AIRB, IFRS9, economic capital) while ensuring their robustness and reliability.
  • Build and maintain unit tests, regression tests and quality controls to ensure accurate results.
  • Collaborate and act as a bridge between business teams and technology teams to ensure a shared understanding of needs.
  • Analyze and investigate data, identify change drivers and propose areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with upstream and downstream to plan out risk production activities.
  • Participate in back-testing activities, including implementation, test, operation and reporting.
  • Develop A.I. agents using tools such as copilot to automate and optimize risk processes.

Prerequisites

  • Have a master's degree in financial engineering, finance, economics, statistics, mathematics or computer science, or any related degree in the field.
  • Have at least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in risk management in complex environments.
  • Have solid practical experience in programming and maintaining production processes involving large datasets.
  • Master SAS, Python, SQL, and UNIX shell scripts.
  • Demonstrate in-depth understanding of credit risk models and their back-testing processes.
