Fountain Tire is seeking a dedicated Inventory Analyst to be a key player in our dynamic Inventory team based at our South Edmonton Corporate Head Office
Summary of the role:The purpose of this role is to work in collaboration with the Inventory Manager and the Product and Pricing Team, to ensure that Fountain Tire's inventory is managed in accordance with the Supply Chain Philosophy and Guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform the analysis and optimization of all Inventory product categories including replenishment strategy, demand classification, product lifecycle management, and obsolete/slow-moving inventory management
- Work with Operations and Stores to determine the optimal inventory stocking strategy to meet the sales plan
- Assist the Product and Pricing team in the optimization of the product lineup, sales analysis and forecasting to align inventory purchases with the sales plan while operating within the working capital budget
- Work with the Customer Service team to streamline inventory transactions and maximize store satisfaction
- Work with the Finance team to keep categories on target and ensure all inventory transactions are processed correctly and efficiently
- Work with Suppliers to address supply chain variability
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory processes and technology to meet and exceed Supply benchmarks
What does it take to get on track?
- 3-5 years working in a Supply Chain capacity is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is an asset
- Experience working with tires (passenger vehicle, farm, or industrial) in an inventory management role is an asset.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis with Microsoft Excel is a considerable asset
- Analytical abilities, deductive reasoning, and critical thinking skills with a focus on detail and accuracy
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Results-oriented and focused on goal setting to meet and/or exceed budgets and KPI targets
