Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as a Cake Decorator. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in the food industry, particularly in baking and cake decorating. The ideal candidate will have experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment and possess excellent customer service skills. You will play a vital role in creating beautiful cakes while ensuring high standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

  • Decorate cakes and other baked goods according to customer specifications and company standards.
  • Prepare various food items, including baking, cooking, and packaging products for sale.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their orders and addressing any inquiries.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations within the kitchen.
  • Handle food items safely and responsibly, following all guidelines for food handling.
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.

Experience

  • Previous experience in cake decorating is highly desirable.
  • Background in restaurant or kitchen environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods is essential.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is crucial for maintaining quality standards.
