Job Description:

Scaffold Depot is seeking a hardworking and reliable Labourer/Driver to join our scaffolding yard team. This dual role requires a candidate who is equally comfortable performing physical yard labour and safely operating company vehicles to transport equipment to various locations throughout the city.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a 1-ton flat deck pickup truck to deliver and retrieve scaffolding materials.
  • Perform manual labour in the yard, including loading, unloading, sorting, and maintaining scaffolding components.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure loads are properly secured according to safety regulations.
  • Maintain an organized and safe yard environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Driving Experience: Proven experience operating a 1-ton flat deck truck or similar large vehicle.
  • Driving Record: A clean driving abstract is mandatory (must provide a 5-year driver's abstract).
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience working with scaffolding systems (Ring System, Frame, etc.) is preferred, but not required.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Safety Mindset: Strong commitment to workplace safety and proper equipment handling.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with trailer towing and backing.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
