Job Description:

A position with room for growth, the Warehouse Associate will work Monday to Friday out of our Mississauga, ON location. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, this position will start off as a warehouse associate with the potential for grow to warehouse management.

We are looking for a highly organized individual that has warehouse experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily receipt and organization of shipments as they arrive from the supplier. Daily tasks would include but not limited to; shipping and receiving, organizing & facilitating orders, completing paperwork, working on our in-house inventory management system, and keeping the warehouse clean & well organized.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Complete fluency in the English language; both written and verbal

  • Physically fit, capable of lifting more than 50 lbs

  • Effective time management, organizational and communication skills

  • Experience with inventory management systems (confident computer skills)

  • Self motivated with a proven ability to work independently

  • Recent WHIMIS Certification is considered a significant asset

  • Experience operating a forklift, an asset

  • Available to work Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

  • Valid Class 5 Driver License (A clean driver's abstract must be provided to be considered for this position)

Responsibilities of the Position

  • Receive, unload and organize parts and/or supplies within the warehouse

  • Compare units received with manifest to ensure balanced inventory, reporting any discrepancies

  • Prepare inventory for shipping: skidding, packaging, and labeling of goods

  • Load and ship goods based on packing slips, ensuring safety while in transit

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

  • Complete regular physical inventory counts & reports

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

  • Secondary School (required)

  • Warehouse: 3 years (preferred)
