Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for an Occupational Therapist based in Oakville, ON. The Occupational Therapist will assess and implement therapy plans to support children with developmental needs. Responsibilities include designing and delivering individualized therapy sessions, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, providing guidance to families, and documenting treatment progress. The role focuses on helping children overcome barriers and achieve developmental milestones in areas such as motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living activities.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Occupational Therapy practices, including assessment and implementation of individualized therapeutic interventions
  • Knowledge in Pediatrics and Rehabilitation techniques to support developmental progress in children
  • Strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices in Medicine and therapeutic care
  • A degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy with relevant certification; registration with a recognized professional body
  • Experience working with children with autism or developmental exceptionalities is an asset
  • Commitment to compassionate care and a collaborative team approach
