Position Summary:

John Bear Buick GMC is seeking a hard-working, self-motivated Body Shop Painter to join our body shop team at our St. Catharines dealership.

Remuneration is flat rate with a potential to earn $60,000 to $90,000+

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare vehicles to be painted, including sanding, masking, priming, etc.
  • Painting/refinishing of vehicles/parts
  • Ensure finished product meets company and/or customer quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Ensure compliance of company safety procedures
  • Perform other assignments as directed

Qualifications:

  • Automotive paint experience required
  • Must be able to mix and match paint
  • Ability to operate painting equipment
  • Must be capable of producing an acceptable amount of production with acceptable quality level
  • Ability to carry out specified work procedures
  • Professional attitude and the ability to deliver best-in-class customer service
