Alteo is looking for a Senior SRE for a permanent position based in Montreal.

Your main role will be to ensure the smooth running and optimization of operations (electronic banking industry), by recommending the implementation of methodological and technical solutions, while ensuring compliance with processes and regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Define procedures to ensure service performance
    • Study and analyze needs in terms of electronic payment operating platforms
    • Analyze operating constraints
    • Ensure the industrialization of production and implementation of the business resumption plan
    • Define and implement procedures
    • Ensure the drafting of qualification and patch testing procedures
  • Provide customer support to meet availability and reliability commitments
    • Handle and process requests and incidents
    • Define production release requirements
    • Manage relations between customers and service providers
    • Produce activity reports
    • Draw up maintenance action plans
    • Ensure the definition of service tasks: alarms, scheduling, backups and plan processing (Batch)
    • Contribute to committees with internal teams and/or customers (e.g. steering committee, production committee...)
  • Provide user support to ensure that reported anomalies are dealt with
    • Provide technical support to users (levels 2 and 3)
    • Ensure timely response to operating incidents (e.g. analysis, diagnosis and resolution)
    • Anticipate user needs and system upgrades
    • Guarantee technical documentation
    • Ensure the ongoing effectiveness of security systems
    • Monitor operating incidents, analyzing causes and taking corrective action.
  • Contribute to the development of colleagues' skills with the aim of improving collective performance
    • Provide guidance, support and back-up to team members
Profile:
  • DEC/BAC in IT or equivalent
  • 5-8 years' experience in a similar role
  • Familiarity with the electronic payment industry (an important asset)
  • Unix server
  • Databases (e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL...)
  • Batch and Shell scripting
  • File transfer station (CFT, SFTP...)
  • International network platforms (e.g. Edit Package Visa, Master Com...)
  • Scheduling tools (e.g. AUTOMIC, $UNIVERS...)

Alteo est à la recherche d'un SRE Senior pour un poste permanent basé à Montréal.

Votre rôle principal sera d'assurer le bon fonctionnement et l'optimisation des opérations (industrie de la monétique), en préconisant la mise en œuvre de solutions méthodologiques et techniques, tout en veillant au respect des processus et réglementations.

  • Assurer le support client dans le but de respecter les engagements de disponibilité et de fiabilité
    • Assurer la prise en charge et le traitement des demandes et des incidents
    • Assurer la définition des prérequis de mise en production
    • Assurer la gestion de relation entre les clients et les fournisseurs de service
    • Assurer la production des rapports d'activité
    • Assurer l'élaboration des plans des actions de maintenance
    • Assurer la définition des tâches de servitude : alarmes, ordonnancement, sauvegardes et planifier les traitements (Batch)
    • Contribuer aux comités avec les équipes internes et/ou les clients (e.g. comité de pilotage, comité de production…)
  • Assurer le support utilisateurs dans le but de garantir le traitement des anomalies remontées
    • Assurer un support technique aux utilisateurs (niveaux 2 et 3)
    • Assurer l'intervention sous contraintes de délais lors des incidents d'exploitation (e.g. analyse, diagnostic et résolution)
    • Assurer l'anticipation des besoins des utilisateurs et les évolutions du système
    • Garantir la documentation technique
    • Veiller à l'efficacité permanente des systèmes de sécurité
    • Assurer le suivi des incidents d'exploitation, en analysant les causes et prenant les mesures correctives associées
  • Contribuer au développement des compétences des collègues dans le but d'améliorer la performance collective
    • Assurer l'encadrement, l'appui et le soutien aux membres de l'équipe
Profil:
  • DEC/BAC en IT ou l'équivalent
  • 5-8 années d'expérience dans un rôle similaire
  • Familier avec l'industrie de la monétique (atout important)
