Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Renovator to join our construction and restoration team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of building renovation, including carpentry, masonry, electrical work, and finishing. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that enhance and restore residential, commercial, and industrial properties. The Renovator will play a key role in transforming spaces through skilled craftsmanship and efficient project execution.

Duties

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and machinery safely and effectively.
  • Perform construction tasks such as framing, drywall installation, concrete forming and finishing, flooring installation, tile laying, and cabinetry installation.
  • Conduct restoration work including caulking, painting and general surface finishing.
  • Install plumbing fixtures, electrical components, and perform basic electrical wiring as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently across multiple trades.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols at all times.
  • Assist with demolition, site preparation, and cleanup activities during project phases.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction or renovation roles with a comprehensive skill set in carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, or related trades.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and specialized trade equipment.
  • Strong understanding of safety standards in construction environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights or in confined spaces.
