Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our woodworking and cabinetry team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, woodworking, and construction, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics accurately. This role involves crafting custom cabinets, installing cabinetry, and contributing to various woodworking projects that require precision and craftsmanship. Candidates with experience in restoration, manufacturing, or maintenance person work are encouraged to apply. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate fabrication of cabinets and related woodwork.
- Cut, shape, assemble, and finish cabinet components using hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and other woodworking equipment.
- Install cabinets and custom woodwork on-site or in workshop settings with attention to detail and safety standards.
- Perform restoration work on existing cabinetry or wood structures as needed.
- Measure spaces accurately for proper fitment of cabinetry and coordinate with project managers or clients.
- Assist with related tasks such as flooring installation, tile laying, drywall work, or other construction activities when required.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cabinetry, woodworking, carpentry, or related construction fields.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings confidently.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other woodworking equipment.
- Knowledge of construction painting, masonry, rebar installation, roofing, siding, plumbing, electrical work, or caulking is a plus.
- Experience with concrete forming or rebar installation is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating and project coordination is desirable.
- Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform heavy lifting tasks regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on craftsmanship quality.
- Maintenance Person experience or background in restoration projects will be considered an asset.
- Valid driver's license preferred for site visits or material transportation purposes. This role requires a dedicated professional committed to delivering high-quality woodwork solutions while maintaining safety standards across all tasks.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
