Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Hiring Manager to lead the recruitment of exceptional educators. In this role, you will evaluate teaching candidates, ensure they meet our high standards, and align with Forbest Academy's mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full recruitment process for teaching staff, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and onboarding.
- Observe and evaluate candidate demo classes to assess teaching quality, communication skills, and classroom effectiveness.
- Ensure candidates are familiar with the BC curriculum and capable of delivering high-quality instruction.
- Collaborate with academic leadership to understand staffing needs and recommend suitable candidates.
- Maintain excellent communication with candidates and provide a professional representation of Forbest Academy.
- Track recruitment metrics, maintain accurate records, and report progress to senior management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in the education sector in British Columbia.
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin for effective communication with teachers and senior management.
- Strong understanding of the BC curriculum and teacher qualifications.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to assess teaching quality objectively through demo class observations.
- Must reside in the Greater Vancouver Area and be legally authorized to work in Canada.
Position Details
- Type: Full-time
- Location: Vancouver or Richmond, BC
- Salary: Commensurate with experience
- Work Schedule: Primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional flexibility on Saturdays or other times based on business needs.
