About the Role

As a Sheet Metal Fabricator, you'll bring technical drawings to life - cutting, shaping, and assembling custom metal components for our innovative energy products. You'll work with a variety of tools and technologies, from light metalworking machinery to advanced laser and plasma cutting equipment. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced shop environment and enjoys seeing their work make a real impact.

What You'll Do

  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.

  • Lay out, measure, and mark materials with accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Operate fabrication equipment including shears, brakes, punches, and drill presses.

  • Perform precision cutting using computerized laser or plasma systems.

  • Fit, join, and finish sheet metal components to create complete assemblies.

  • Ensure all products meet quality standards and safety regulations.

  • Collaborate with welding, electrical, and production teams to support project flow.

  • Assist with general shop upkeep and material handling.

What You Bring

  • Experience in oilfield fabrication or related metalwork is an asset.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

  • Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with fabrication equipment.

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship.

  • Valid safety tickets for fieldwork (or willingness to obtain).

  • A strong work ethic and dedication to teamwork and safety.
