About the Role

Join our Solution and Implementation Engineering team as a technical expert and trusted advocate, guiding our customers on their journey to success with Rootly.

As an Solution/Implementation Engineer you'll be bringing technical expertise to customer implementations and demos. You will develop best practices and content around Incident Management and On-Call, and collaborate across engineering, customer success, support, and product teams to represent the customers' voice and drive continuous product improvements.

If you're a developer or technologist who loves discussing technology, working closely with customers across industries, and possesses a problem-solving, can-do mindset, we'd love to meet you as you'll be joining a team that delivers real value through an industry-leading product.

What You'll Need
  • 5+ years of experience as a Solution Engineer, Implementation Engineer, Implementation Specialist, Software Engineer, or Sales Engineer, with a passion for working directly with customers.
  • Strong knowledge of APIs and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
  • Hands-on experience with scripting or programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or Go.
  • Understanding of how organizations roll out mission-critical technology.

  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities while adapting to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with engineers at all levels of an organization.
