Position Scope
We are seeking a motivated Mechatronics co-op student to support our Field Controls Team. The successful candidate will assist in designing electrical schematics and creating 3D models for HMI dashboards. This role provides practical experience in electrical and mechanical integration, as well as exposure to real-world control system projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and drafting electrical schematics for control systems.
- Create 3D models of HMI dashboards using SolidWorks or similar 3D design software.
- Collaborate with engineers to develop functional and user-friendly control interfaces.
- Support documentation and updates for ongoing projects.
- Learn and apply industry best practices in electrical and mechanical design.
Qualifications & Abilities
- Currently enrolled in a Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering program.
- Strong knowledge of 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks; experience with other CAD software is a plus.
- Familiarity with electrical schematics and control system components.
- Detail-oriented, creative, and eager to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
