About the Role:
At DingD Property Services, we bridge the gap between property owners and tenants. We manage a diverse portfolio of residential units across Saint John, from historic Uptown flats to modern multi-family buildings.
We are looking for a Property Manager who is a natural problem solver. This is not a desk job where you hide behind email. You will be in the field, meeting potential tenants, inspecting units, and coordinating contractors. You are the diplomat who handles noise complaints and the general who organizes emergency repairs. If you can stay cool when a pipe bursts at 2 AM and firm when rent is late, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Tenant Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for tenants. Handle inquiries, complaints, and conflict resolution with professionalism.
- Leasing & Marketing: Conduct viewings for vacant units, screen applicants (credit/reference checks), and execute lease agreements.
- Maintenance Coordination: Receive maintenance requests, troubleshoot issues, and dispatch vendors (plumbers, electricians, cleaners). Verify work is completed before approving invoices.
- Rent Collection: Monitor rent rolls, follow up on arrears, and issue Notices to Vacate (Form J) when necessary in compliance with SNB.
- Inspections: Conduct thorough Move-In/Move-Out inspections and periodic unit checks to ensure asset protection.
- Legal Compliance: Represent the landlord at Residential Tenancies Tribunal (RTT) hearings if disputes arise.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: 2+ years in Property Management, Building Operations, or a high-volume Customer Service role.
- Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the NB Residential Tenancies Act is a massive asset. You need to know what you can and cannot do as a landlord.
- Mobility: A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle are mandatory (Mileage is reimbursed).
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using smartphone apps for inspections and cloud-based software for reporting.
- Grit: Saint John has old buildings. Sometimes things break. You need to be willing to tackle challenges head-on.
- Communication: You can be friendly with a good tenant and firm with a difficult one, without losing your cool.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
