Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee and manage our company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth. This role requires a strong background in accounting, proficiency with various accounting software, and excellent analytical skills to manage budgeting, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to inform decision-making processes
  • Oversee account reconciliation and conduct detailed account analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other platforms to maintain precise financial records
  • Monitor cash flow and coordinate with external auditors during audits
  • Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Lead the budgeting process and provide variance analysis to management
  • Supervise finance team members and coordinate with other departments for seamless financial operations
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices
  • Performing large scale data entry for accounts payable and receivable.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar senior finance role
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms
  • Strong background in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and account reconciliation
  • Experience with account analysis and budgeting processes
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to lead a team effectively and communicate complex financial information clearly

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in:
  • Accounting

Professional Certifications (Highly Valued)

  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
  • ACA / CA (Chartered Accountant)

Salary

  • Depends on experience and qualifications.
