Overview

We are seeking a skilled Glazier as well as Technical Skilled people to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in glass installation and repair, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and restoring glass in various structures, as well as servicing Sliding Patio doors and windows, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Install and replace glass in windows, skylights, and storefronts according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements.
  • Utilize hand tools and equipment for cutting, shaping, and securing glass.
  • Apply caulking and sealants to ensure proper insulation and weatherproofing.
  • Conduct repairs on broken or damaged glass, ensuring structural integrity.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Glazier or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
  • Familiarity with drywall installation, caulking techniques, and construction painting.
  • Ability to use hand tools effectively for glass installation tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to plumb installations accurately.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to handle lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
