Flynn Canada Ltd is hiring a Project Coordinator This position will be based out of our Halifax location, reporting to the Architectural Operations Manager.

A Day in the Life:

Complete take-offs/estimates for assigned projects.

Follow up on single scope projects.

Complete work orders & prepare material order sheets.

Preparing and following-up on quotations and tenders.

Mark up drawings on Bluebeam as part of takeoff process.

Communicate frequently with the Metals team to obtain and share knowledge and information.

What You Bring:

Recent graduate of a Construction or Engineering & Technologies program or a related educational field, or have a minimum of 1 year work experience in a construction environment.

Good communication (verbal & written)

Computer aptitude (Outlook, Bluebeam, excel, word, etc.).

Basic estimating/mathematical skills.

Ability to read blueprints, plans and specifications.

Strong relationship building and negotiation skills.

Excellent time management and problem solving skills.

A career-minded individual with a focus on continuous growth and development.
