We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pressman to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate printing presses efficiently, ensuring high-quality output and maintaining safety standards. Duties

  • Operate and monitor various types of printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press equipment to minimize downtime
  • Adjust machine settings for different print jobs, ensuring color accuracy and print quality
  • Load raw materials such as paper or packaging components into presses safely and efficiently
  • Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to identify and correct defects
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the press area, adhering to safety protocols
  • Assist with packaging finished products for shipment or storage as needed

Requirements

  • Prior experience in manufacturing, packaging, machining, or warehouse environments is preferred
  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment
  • Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus but not mandatory
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required
