Who You Are

You're an organized individual capable of staying on top of multiple responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of the building. You're detail oriented and aware of the importance of keeping good records. You identify problems easily and use your experience and problem solving skills to ensure our tenants' positive experience. As a front line contact for the building, you excel at customer service and building rapport with others. You also enjoy working with your hands and are adept at general maintenance and repairs.

What You'll Be Doing

The Building Maintenance Team Member carries out general maintenance and repairs in tenant suites and common areas of the facilities.

Duties Include:

  • Maintain professional communications with tenants/contractors/trades

  • Responding to after-hours emergencies 

  • Cleaning common areas of buildings

Building Maintenance:

  • Plumbing fixture repair and replacement

  • Painting

  • Cabinetry repairs

  • Window and door adjustments

  • Door hardware repair and replacement

  • Routine grounds cleaning

  • Miscellaneous maintenance and repairs

  • Back up generator testing

  • Drywall installation and repair

Qualifications:

  • Experience with plumbing, electrical, painting, landscaping, and carpentry

  • Pool Operator Certification a benefit

  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license

  • Clear Criminal Record Search as this is a position of trust

  • Self-motivated and flexible.

  • Good organization skills and team player.

  • Good interpersonal skills.

Other Information:

The team member may be asked to perform additional tasks as needed by management. 

This position could also be live in, or off site, depending on the preferences of management and the suitability of the applicant.

Recruitment Process: Applicants will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A Criminal Record Search and reference checks will be conducted as part of the process. 

Salary: $60,000 to $70,000 annually

Status: Full-time permanent

Hours Per Week: 40

Vacation: Two weeks to start
