Who We Are

Hi We're AntiSocial, a social first digital marketing agency powered by people who love to create. Our work spans industries and disciplines, from conceptual campaigns and strategic media plans to creator partnerships, influencer strategies, and content production for leading brands around the world. As part of the Thinkingbox family, we bring creativity, collaboration, and innovation to everything we do.

At AntiSocial, you'll join a diverse and talented team that delivers bold campaigns and innovative solutions for some of the world's top brands. Our culture is one of collaboration, creativity, and connection. Whether it is brainstorming with colleagues, hanging out with our office dogs, or enjoying weekly events, we keep our work environment vibrant, inclusive, and fun. Each year, we also encourage our people to spend a month exploring the world, whether that means working from another office or even from the beaches of Mexico, to expand their perspectives and bring fresh inspiration back to the team.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Director of Production to join our Toronto team and lead a growing group of producers focused on social storytelling for some of the most exciting brands in Canada and beyond.

The Director of Production is responsible for overseeing all production across AntiSocial with a strong focus on social first content. This role leads and supports a team of producers delivering a high volume of always-on programs, social campaigns, creator partnerships, and platform specific content.

You bring deep experience producing social content and managing the full production lifecycle from scoping through delivery. You understand the nuances of each platform and how to adapt content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, and emerging channels. You are comfortable moving between internal teams and client conversations, ensuring work aligns with timelines, budgets, and creative vision.

This role partners closely with Creative, Content, Media, Client Services, and the Accounts team to ensure delivery is seamless and consistent. You are a mentor, a problem solver, and the senior production voice clients and internal teams trust.

  • Lead a team of producers across multiple accounts and content streams.
  • Implement and optimize production processes that allow the team to deliver high volume, fast moving social content efficiently and at scale.
  • Evaluate project needs, allocate resources, and support producers in planning shoots, edits, and creator deliverables.
  • Project and Client Oversight
  • Act as the senior production partner for client services and accounts teams.
  • Review scopes, budgets, and timelines to ensure feasibility and operational excellence.
  • Join key client meetings to represent production and provide solutions oriented recommendations.
  • Ensure production approaches reflect platform best practices and the realities of social.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Creative to bring concepts to life in social friendly formats.
  • Collaborate with Content and Media teams on asset needs, channel planning, posting schedules, and performance insights.
  • Work with influencer and creator partners and support teams managing creator relationships.
  • Ensure consistent communication across teams throughout pre production, production, and post.
  • Team Management
  • Mentor and grow a team of producers at varying levels.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and capability building across the production team.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, solutions forward team culture.
  • Operational Excellence
  • Build and maintain scalable production systems, documentation, and tools.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and increase operational efficiency.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, freelance talent, and production partners.
  • Ensure projects stay on track across budget, scope, and quality expectations.
What You'll Bring
  • 8 plus years of production experience with a focus on social first environments.
  • Deep knowledge of producing always on content, campaign assets, creator content, and cross platform social deliverables.
  • Experience leading and developing a team of producers.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with creative directors, strategists, content leads, media planners, and client service teams.
  • Confident in budget management, resourcing, and production planning.
  • A solutions oriented mindset and calm approach to fast paced, high volume workflows.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate creative ideas into actionable production plans.
