Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be hardworking and keen to learn about the heavy construction industry. Tasks will include assisting ticketed trades, rigging for cranes, operating mobile equipment, general labour, and cleaning up the site. For those interested in starting a career and or apprenticeship as a welder, carpenter, bridgeman, or equipment operator in the heavy construction industry this is an excellent organization to grow with. Our aim is to train new hires into skilled, well-rounded, and productive employees capable of executing multiple aspects of our work.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma.
  • 2+ years experience in heavy construction is preferred.
  • Experience with welding is an asset.
  • Experience with carpentry is an asset.
  • Experience with rigging and cranes is an asset.
  • Experience with mobile equipment is an asset.

Compensation:

Based on the individual's experience and the above qualifications. Significant room for growth while moving towards equivalent of journeyman wage.
