– As a
Construction Materials Field Technician Co-op
, you'll gain hands-on experience in materials testing and quality assurance for exciting infrastructure and construction projects. You'll work closely with a collaborative team, applying your technical skills in the field and contributing to projects that shape communities across Canada.

Your Impact

  • Perform field and laboratory testing of construction materials such as soil, aggregate, asphalt, and concrete.
  • Collect samples, record data accurately, and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Assist senior technicians and engineers in preparing reports and communicating results to clients.
  • Work in a dynamic environment, traveling to project sites and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

The Skills That Set You Apart

  • Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related technical program.
  • Interest in fieldwork and hands-on testing in outdoor environments.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office and willingness to learn new software tools.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean abstract and access to a reliable vehicle.

Compensation
BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU:
$24.00 – $32.25

MB & ON:
$22.50 – $30.25

Atlantic Provinces & QC:
$21.50 – $30.25
