Jayne Industries Inc is currently seeking to fill a new upcoming position:
Sales/Project Manager
The successful candidate will:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout a project lifecycle
- Review and interpret customer provided drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate detailed work plans, project schedules, risk management reports, projected cost reports and open issues list
- Prepare detailed quotations, cost estimates, and manage change orders in accordance with company standards
- Coordinate effectively with internal departments including welding, engineering, purchasing, shipping and receiving to manage the project material flow
- Develop and maintain project schedules ensuring timely progress tracking and reporting
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to achieve optimal efficiency
- Communicate project status, potential risks, and any changes to both customers and management
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, welding procedures, and customer specifications
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records in ECI or project management system
- Oversee and coordinate multiple projects with stringent timelines and competing deadlines
- Perform additional duties assigned by the executive team
- Ability to travel and meet with clients when required periodically
EXPERIENCE
- 2-3 years experience in sales and project management
- Experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing
QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced knowledge of MS Office
Advanced CAD/3D AutoDesk Inventor experience
Post secondary in a technical field, college, university or relevant years of experience required
Strong understanding of welding and fabrication processes
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Ensure compliance with all health and safety rules, policies and the OHSA.
Salary/Wage: $75,000.00 to $85, based on experience)
This position is permanent full time 40 hours/week on site
