Job Description:
We're seeking an experienced Advisor Trainer to join our growing Training & Development team. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional learning experiences to Sun Life Financial Distribution (SLFD) & Prospr advisors and managing relationships with field leaders.
What will you do?
Training Delivery
- Execute training strategies for assigned content streams and audiences
- Deliver workshops, forums, and learning events on insurance and wealth offerings
- Conduct train-the-trainer sessions as needed
- Manage learner interactions before, during, and after training events
Relationship Management
- Collaborate with key business partners to identify needs and evaluate business initiatives
- Partner across 3rd party, SLFD, and Prospr for relevant content
- Support product launches and campaigns, as needed
Content Development and Improvement
- Contribute to developing and maintaining learning content
- Review and update training materials
- Identify opportunities for program enhancements
- Collaborate on sales tools and concepts used in the Client For Life Interaction Model
What do you need to succeed?
- Post-secondary education
- 5-7 years progressive experience in financial services
- Strong understanding of financial services marketplace, focusing on wealth and insurance products
- Experience in facilitation and communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, and learning management systems
- Adaptability and ability to manage deadlines and change
- Full professional capacity in English
Preferred
- CFP, CLU, or other industry designations
- Certification in Adult Learning
- Bilingualism (French/English) required for Quebec
- Experience in marketing, business, or communications roles

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
