Drivehead Technician

PCM Artificial Lift Solutions offers a full range of hydraulic and electric surface equipment, progressing cavity pumps and mechanical repair and manufacturing services for the Oil & Gas Industry.

PCM Artificial Lift Solutions is seeking a Drivehead Technician in Lloydminster, AB to assist with the assembly and repair of oilfield wellhead drive equipment.

The responsibilities of the Drivehead Technician include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing, disassembly and repair of wellhead drive units.
• Manufacturing and assembly of wellhead drive units.
• Remanufacturing and assembly of stuffing boxes.
• Abide by all PCM policies and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties assigned by shop foreman.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with wellhead drive units.
• Previous experience working in a shop environment.
• Experience operating a forklift and overhead crane.
• Mechanical or Millwright Trade ticket would be an asset

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma, or GED equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment with guidance from supervisor.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to complete tasks and show initiative to be self- sufficient as needed.
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately and in a timely fashion.
• Physical effort to move heavy objects and tools; frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling.
• A high level of dexterity is required.

Pay: Compensation based on experience.
