detail-oriented Staff Accountant with strong NetSuite experience
to join our growing team in
Toronto
.

What You'll Do

  • Own day-to-day accounting operations, including:
  • General ledger maintenance
  • Journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Month-end and year-end close processes
  • Serve as a
    NetSuite power user
    , helping ensure data accuracy, optimize workflows, and support system improvements
  • Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules
  • Assist with revenue recognition and deferred revenue accounting
  • Support audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership to support financial decision-making
  • Contribute to process improvements and scaling finance operations as the company grows

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with NetSuite (required)
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices
  • Experience in a SaaS, telecom, or high-growth technology environment is a plus
  • CPA (or actively pursuing) is strongly preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills; comfort working with large datasets
  • Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and ownership mentality
