Nutritionist Sales Associate Full and Part Time Positions Available

Nutrition House – Oshawa Centre

We are currently seeking an experienced sales associate at nutrition house Oshawa Centre. The ideal applicant will have a thorough understanding of natural health products, and outstanding communication abilities. The sales associate is responsible for assisting with all operations and sales.

  • Helps to achieve required sales, maximizing store profitability.
  • Provides exceptional customer service, helping customers with questions, locating items, and providing guidance on supplements, health and beauty, and other products.
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of vitamins, supplements, and other health and beauty items in the department.
  • Maintains proper merchandising, and inventory control to avoid out of stocks and overstocks.
  • Receive, price and merchandise products appropriately.
  • Fosters a positive and healthy and work environment.
  • Maintains safe, clean and well-organized working and shopping environment.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent supplemented with college courses in nutrition such as Natural Health, Nutrition, Sports Nutrition, Naturopathy, or Homeopathy is an asset.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a natural health retail environment.
  • Strong understanding of natural health products.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required.
  • Experience in customer service, especially in a retail environment is an asset.
