The Opportunity

Innovate and Lead – In this role, you'll be at the forefront of proposal strategy and delivery, collaborating on transformative projects that push the boundaries of what's possible. As Manager, Proposals, you will lead a dynamic team in eastern Canada, reporting to the National Proposal Director. You'll coach and mentor Proposal Coordinators, set goals, and inspire excellence while ensuring high-quality, timely submissions for transportation and infrastructure pursuits. This is your chance to shape winning strategies and contribute to projects that define communities.

Your Impact

• Lead and manage the workflow of a team of 5–10 employees, fostering collaboration and a positive culture.
• Drive proposal response efforts, acting as the central point of communication and ensuring compliance with RFP requirements.
• Develop proposal outlines, coordinate contributions, and perform quality control for final submissions.
• Collaborate nationally with proposal coordinators, graphic designers, technical experts, and legal professionals to deliver winning bids.
• Conduct post-proposal evaluations and client debriefs to continuously improve processes.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members, building a strong and capable team.
• Champion process improvements and innovative approaches to enhance proposal delivery.

The Skills That Set You Apart

• Extensive experience in proposal development within engineering consulting or professional services.
• Proven ability to manage and coach direct reports, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Skilled in writing and editing proposal content, including executive summaries and technical sections.
• APMP Bid/Proposal Foundation Certification (or higher) is an asset.
• Proficiency in MS Office; Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop); and SharePoint Online.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment with flexibility for occasional overtime.

Compensation

BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $122,900 – $162,800
MB & ON: $112,100 – $154,400
Atlantic Provinces & QC: $111,000 – $147,400
