As we continue to grow, we are looking for a licensed 313A Refrigeration Mechanics or 3rd-year+ apprentices to join our team This role focuses on servicing supermarket refrigeration systems, including rack systems (e.g., Hussmann). Our service territory spans Niagara to Cobourg, and north to Barrie.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose, service, and repair supermarket refrigeration systems
- Respond to emergency service calls as required
- Troubleshoot issues, restore equipment to full operation, and recommend additional repairs when necessary
- Complete and maintain accurate service orders and documentation
- Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation, including occasional overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ensure all tools and equipment are used safely and maintained in proper working condition
Who You Are & What You Bring
- Hands on experience servicing supermarket refrigeration systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
- Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team
- Professional and composed when responding to emergency service calls
- Clear verbal and written communication skills (English required)
- Safety focused, detail-oriented, and accountable for your work
- Clean driver's record (driver's abstract required at interview)
- Registered with the Ontario College of Trades
- Valid ODP Card
- Organized and responsible with tools, equipment, and service vehicles
