Key Responsibilities

  • Teach and inspire students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 through engaging, interactive online lessons.
  • Assess and grade student work accurately and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support curriculum development and content enhancement for our K–12 online math program.
  • Analyze student performance data to inform instructional decisions.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with parents and collaborate with the MathProject team to ensure student success.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong foundation in mathematics and the ability to simplify concepts across grade levels.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
  • Professional, reliable, and motivated to make a difference in students' learning.
  • Prior teaching or tutoring experience is an asset but not required — comprehensive training provided.
  • Academic excellence (grade A or higher) in high school and university-level math courses (Unofficial or official transcripts required).

Compensation & Commitment

  • Hourly Rate: $18–$22/hour (based on experience and performance)
  • Schedule: 1–2 weekdays (4 PM–9 PM EST) and Saturdays (9 AM–4 PM EST) Minimum 10–12 hours per week for at least 2 years
  • Work Setup: Remote (Canada-based) — requires a functional laptop, smartphone, and reliable internet connection. In addition, a tablet and stylus are recommended but not required.
