Role Description

This is a full-time, AZ Truck Driver based in Hamilton, ON. The candidate will operate trucks efficiently and safely, transporting goods to various destinations. Responsibilities will include vehicle inspections, adhering to DOT regulations, driving long-haul routes, properly securing and unloading cargo, and ensuring effective communication with dispatch for scheduling and updates. Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and following safety protocols are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

  • AZ license- 3 years experience in long distance cross country driving
  • Valid CDL Class A license and professional truck driving experience
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining trucks, including proper loading and unloading practices
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations and compliance requirements
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and vehicle inspection procedures
  • Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with team members and dispatch
  • Prior experience in long-haul or cross-border transport is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are advantageous
