Arbru Solar Brewery is currently hiring a Pizza Artist (Cook) to join our amazing team in Mallorytown, ON.

About us:

We are a small craft brewpub located in Mallorytown, ON. We are looking for a casual kitchen cook for our off season, with the goal to have more full time hours come peak season Candidates should be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking positive minded team players who look for solutions

Arbru is Canada's first destination solar powered brewpub and all of our electricity comes from solar power.

Pay range between $18-$20 (plus tips).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Food prep and dressing pizzas.
  • Preparing food according to customer preference
  • Cook in a deck oven and occasionally in a wood fired oven.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Able to start and sustain a fire (wood oven).
  • Must be comfortable with lifting propane tanks.
  • Take food inventory and log supply shortages as required.
  • Keep a clean workstation, including equipment and utensils; understand and abide by Health & Safety standards and Food Safe requirements.
  • Help clear tables, wash dishes, and help out with other related tasks from time to time.
  • Know how to prioritize tasks
  • Be receptive to feedback
  • Organize deliveries (put food away in correct order - first in, first out)

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid Food Hander's Certificate or willing to obtain before start date
