We are currently looking for a Sales Executive – Canada
This role will be responsible for managing commercial activities across distribution channels, travel agencies, corporate clients, tourism entities, and other partners, providing commercial guidance and maintaining up-to-date information on products and services to facilitate sales and strengthen client relationships and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute commercial management, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while ensuring accurate tracking of results, contact effectiveness, and ongoing client portfolio maintenance.
- Coordinate communication with clients locally and globally, according to operational needs, supporting the closure of new business and providing assistance in commercial and operational processes such as groups, events, airports, avianca portfolio products,etc.
- Analyze commercial performance indicators (sales, forecasts, market share participation, route performance, and client agency behavior) to define actions aimed at increasing sales and positioning both direct and indirect channels, ensuring the company achieves its expected results.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies for assigned clients and portfolios to increase sales, build customer loyalty, meet assigned targets and budgets, and consolidate Avianca's market presence in the territory.Collaborate closely with internal teams (Marketing, Revenue Management, Corporate Communications, Legal, and PMO) to ensure consistency and effectiveness across all initiatives.
- Integrate strategy of avianca with Gol and Abra group to take advantage of the opportunities of co-marketing, and growth.
Check-in / Boarding Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Tourism, Marketing, International Business, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years in the airline industry, with experience in sales, commercial account management, and/or distribution channels (indirect sales).
- Technical Knowledge: GDS desirable (Amadeus or Sabre), intermediate to advanced Power BI, advanced Excel.
- Languages: Advanced English and Spanish; Portuguese and French are desirable.
- 100% remote, with travel flexibility within Canada, the U.S., and Latin America.
